2024 Spring Veggie Plants are Ready to be Ordered!
Hello Central Iowa Gardeners! We are hard at work planting and preparing to provide you with awesome veggie seedlings this spring! You can now place orders for your favorite varieties and pick them up when they are ready for outdoor planting! Everything you currently see on the site can be ordered. If for some reason an item ends up not being available, I will do my best to substitute a similar variety or offer you a full refund.
New this year, we are offering cool weather veggies that are ready now! These include several kinds of Cabbage, Bok Choi, Broccoli, Cauliflower, Kohlrabi, Swiss Chard, Kale, and more! We also have cool temp loving radish, lettuce, spinach, and carrot seeds that you can plant directly in the garden. Cool weather crops thrive with daytime temps in the 60s-70s and night time temps of 40-50 degrees. Most can take a light frost or be covered for protection from a hard freeze. If you order both cool and warm season veggie plants, I will contact you when each group is ready for pick up.
