Pilosocereus pachycladus, also known as Blue Columnar Cactus is native to South America. It is super popular worldwide and it thrives in any location that mimics its natural habitat. Like all cacti, the Blue Columnar is drought-tolerant for long periods and will thrive with sunlight, warm temps and well-draining soil. It can grow up to 3 feet tall, but in a container, it usually only reaches 12". It has bluish-silver branches and white or yellow spines. It can produce several branches that emerge from the main stem.
