Calathea Freddie is a delightfully ornamental prayer plant known for its beautiful striped foliage that opens and closes in response to the rhythms of light. This tropical beauty features large leaves with a silvery or soft green and deep green bands that create a striking zebra-like pattern. The leaves feature a thin dark green border. 
With proper care, this plant can grow up to 2 ft. Tall. Provide bright to medium, indirect light. The plant can tolerate low light but may not look as vibrant as it would with higher light. Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Distilled water, filtered water or rainwater preferred. 
Calathea Freddie prefers a humid environment. You can use a humidifier, pebble tray or group with other plants to give the plant a humidity boost.
