Gardeners looking for a dual purpose pepper should consider this variety. Unlike most peppers, anchos/poblanos prefer cool growing conditions - not this variety - it was specially bred for performing in the heat.

Large, heart-shaped peppers that are green when unripe and turn a dark red-brown when ripe. Classic poblano shape. The fruit can grow up to 7 inches long and 3 inches wide, and has a touch of heat, measuring 500 scoville units.

Compact plants make harvesting easier. High yielding.
