You will receive the exact terrarium shown in the photo. This terrarium is made of glass, with small rocks, organic charcoal, and sphagnum moss in the bottom. This creates space for water drainage and prevents fungus and rot. The soil is a cactus/succulent mix and the top dressing includes colorful pebbles, shells, and a cute little turtle. The container does not have drainage holes, so we recommend watering with a small squeeze bottle as shown in the 2nd photo. You can purchase one of these bottles from us separately for $4 if desired.

Succulents include Ruffle Jade, Echeveria Chenille Plant, and Echeveria Molded Wax.

Ruffle Jade

Ruffle jade succulent is a very popular, beautiful, and unique succulent that every single succulent lover should grow and care for. It has amazing green leaves with red edges that look like ruffles! Jade plants growing indoors need a sunny window or exposure to a grow light. Water only after the plant has dried out to prevent root rot.

Echeveria Chenille Plant

Chenille Plant has thick, fleshy leaves that are covered with soft, silvery-white hairs. It is native to Mexico and is easy to grow, making it a good choice for beginners. It does best in bright, indirect sunlight, but can also tolerate lower light conditions. Like most succulents, the Chenille plant prefers infrequent watering, only when the soil is completely dry. When watering, try not to get water on the leaves, as they will absorb the water and increase the chance of rot.

Echeveria Molded Wax

The Molded Wax plant (Echeveria agavoides) is a small stemless succulent with lush apple-green leaves and red tips. It is native to the rocky regions of Mexico, where it thrives in hot, dry conditions. Molded Wax loves sunlight - try to put it in a sunny spot where it will receive plenty of light. Note, though, that too much intense, hot sunlight can cause sunburn on the leaves. They also only need a little water. You can allow the soil to dry out in between waterings, and you should never let your Molded Wax sit in water. Overwatering can easily kill a succulent, so if you're ever unsure if your plant needs water then it's better to wait before watering again.
