Golden Torch Cactus is native to Western Argentina and named for its yellow spikes and long thin stature. As it grows, it will develop multiple spines, all of them parallel to the body. Relatively fast growing, it can eventually reach 6" tall under the right conditions. This cactus needs more sunlight than other types of cactus.
Golden Torch Cactus
Golden Torch Cactus needs bright direct light and fresh air. This cactus enjoys temps above 70 degrees and will tolerate temperatures down to around 20 degrees. In the summer, you should keep your plant outdoors. Rotate the pot so the plant doesn't lean toward the sun. Let the plant dry out for 10 days to 2 weeks between waterings.
