Easy-go-grow perennial herb has many uses in the garden and the kitchen. Resembling mint in appearance and growing about 20 inches tall, lemon balm fills the garden air with a pleasant lemon scent, attracts pollinators and repels mosquitos. In the kitchen, it can be used with other herbs to create a custom tea or add a burst of flavor to seafood and salads. Like all members of the mint family, Lemon Balm likes to spread, but can also be grown in containers.
