The VaT In The Sky African violet, also known as Saintpaulia 'VaT In The Sky', is a houseplant with variegated green and pink leaves and purple flowers with pink spots. Here are some tips for caring for African violets:
Temperature
African violets prefer a room temperature between 60–80°F, ideally 70°F.
Humidity
African violets thrive in 40–60% humidity. To increase humidity, you can group plants together or place them on trays of pebbles with water. Make sure the plant is above the water, not sitting in it.
Light
African violets like bright, indirect light. The light shouldn't be so bright that it casts a shadow from 10 inches away.
Watering
Water African violets when the top of the soil feels dry. Allow the soil to dry out between waterings, as overwatering can kill the plant. You can water African violets from the top, bottom, or with a wick. Use room temperature water.
