Big Smile sunflower has big 3-6 in. golden yellow flowers on sturdy, dwarf plants. Nearly day-length neutral plants will produce flowers at any time that the weather is warm, not just in the long days of summer. When planted directly in the ground, Big Smile blooms when plants are 12-24 in. tall. In pots, flowers develop when plants reach 6-15 in. tall. Big Smile produces pollen for the benefit of bees and other beneficial insects.
