Holy Basil, also known as Tulsi, is a wonderfully fragrant basil traditionally grown in India and treasured for its distinctive aroma and flavor. Bushy plants produce green leaves with a warm, complex fragrance often described as spicy, clove-like, and slightly sweet, along with delicate flower spikes that are highly attractive to bees and other pollinators. The aromatic leaves can be used fresh or dried and are especially popular for herbal tea, while the plant itself makes a beautiful and useful addition to herb and pollinator gardens. Fast-growing and heat-loving, Holy Basil produces generously throughout the summer.
