The Philodendron "Sun Red" is a low-maintenance houseplant with striking red and orange leaves that mature to a red-purple color. It's a compact, bushy plant that can grow up to 24 inches tall and has red wine colored stems. 
Leaves: Glossy, oval, and leathery, they emerge bright red and mature to red-purple. 
Light: Needs medium to bright indirect light, and some shade is tolerated. Bright sun helps maintain leaf coloring. 
Watering: Water thoroughly and allow the soil to dry out between waterings.
