One taste and you'll know why this gold gem gets such high marks. The standard of excellence for the sweetest, best-flavored cherry tomato. Extra early, golden-orange, mouth-watering, fruits are about 1/2 to 1-inch across, thin-skinned and juicy-sweet. The beautiful golden-orange fruits are borne in large clusters. The flavor develops early, so this little tomato is great for snacking a week before full maturity, when it becomes very sweet and delicious. Holds well on vigorous vines. Indeterminate.

Plant seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before anticipated transplant date; up-pot into 3-4 inch pots when the first set of true leaves appears. Strong light and cooler temperatures (60-70°F) prevent plants from getting leggy.
Plant outdoors when the danger of frost is past and night temperatures consistently remain above 55 degrees Fahrenheit. If an unexpected late frost is forecasted, protect young plants with plastic sheeting or other cover. Set plants 2 to 3 feet apart. Tomatoes can be buried up to the top 2 sets of leaves.
Plant tomato plants in well-drained soil and keep them well-watered but not soggy. A thick layer of mulch helps conserve moisture and control weeds; water the plants once a week, but avoid getting the leaves wet. You may want to choose an organic fertilizer formulated specifically for tomatoes.
