Takara is a  special hybrid version of the classic open-pollinated Shishito type with the same shape, size and quality, but with better uniformity. Small, 3 1/2" by 1" fruits have a mild, but rich flavor. Excellent sauteed, in stir-fries, grilled or eaten fresh. Compact plants have a spreading, well-branched habit, short internodes and are high yielding. Great for containers and small space gardens.
